Oh it's not nearly hundreds - the total number of people who die annually of car accidents in Canada is only about 3000, and only 3 percent of those involve wildlife. But hitting a moose is still a big deal - It's essentially ramming your car into a brick wall, only instead of brick it's muscle and bones and a huge freakin' set of antlers. It will total your car and probably kill you.
