I try very hard to keep my intelligences very high.

Use a spell that autoturns it 113880 times. Seriously, for wizards and witches they don't use much magic. For instance, you see them falling down ~100 meters in Gringotts, and Hermione uses a spell that brakes their fall instantly. Why not just jump all the way down in that room with moving stairs and use that spell to save some time.

Also, unless you use the time turner to go back into the future, you'd have to wait that out since you have no way of going back to the future. (lol.)

But he didn't die. He was saved because they went back in time, so he never died. If I stuck a knife up my ass I would most likely die. But I won't stick a knife up there so I haven't died. Doesn't mean the knife brought me back to life because it never entered my anus.

But then, if they went back in time and saved Harry's parents, then THEY would have never died.

But they have died, therefore they cannot save them. You've got to think of it as, if something has happened then you can't change it as technically Buckbeak never died because they were always going to use the time turner to save him. But if you went back in time to stop harry's parents from dying then it would create a time paradox as you would have no reason to want to save them in the first place as Harry would have grown up with them being alive. So even if Snape used one as soon as he found them it would still create a time paradox and the present him (the one that hasn't used the time turner yet) would have no need to use the time turner so it would create a paradox.

Because when they used the time turner to save buckbeak they did not know he had already been saved. In other words, the only way you could save someone with it is if you save them in such a way that your future self that uses the time-turner will still believe they are dead, and you have to do so by accident (if you PLAN to save them in such a way you will obviously know they are alive)

In the same book, Ron finally learned how to use a telephone at age 13 or 14 (it didn't explain when is Ron's birthday.) That is only because it's the only way to communicate with Harry without pissing off the Dursleys. The you honestly think they know how to create a robot? But they could use magic as Anon said. Dumbledore would still not have allowed it in fear of what Harry can and probably will do.

Underage Wizards are not allowed to preform magic outside of school. So harry would have to manually spin it himself. Or use magic, who would know?
Anyway. Dumbledore would never allow a high risk situation such as this. Harry can and probably try to kill Voldemort before Voldemort kills Harry's parents.

They aren't allowed but the Ministry has no way to monitor if the students are using magic or not. They can track if magic is being used, but not who is using it. That's the only reason they know when Harry performs magic back in Privet Drive, and why they thought Dobby using the levitation spell was Harry. I can't remember which book it explained this in but it's there, trust me.

Two little points. Firstly, they had only already saved Buckbeak, and consequently went back in time to save him, because they went back in time in the future (sorry for the bad description, infinite time loops turn out to be a bit hard to explain concisely).
And two, they could have just moved house.

But they couldn't, because they didn't. In the books and movie they never actually changed anything, they just did what they were going to do, but thats what always happened. They always went back in time. Regardless. I like chocolate.
