It's worse when someone brings their child into the cinema, and instead of taking the child out of the theatre they stay inside and when you say something they get all defensive and say STFU FEGGIT I IZ TRIUNG TO INJOY TEH MUVEE. And from then on you begin to contemplate murder.
But crying children in certain restaurants doesn't bother me when the parents are actually trying to quiet the kid instead of ignore them. It's more about the fact that they ignore the child rather than help them calm down. But if it is in a high class restaurant or when I'm on a date with my girlfriend and all I can hear is "WWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHH" It get's annying because I can't hear her.
