My ideas in place are garbage.

I don't want to be another guy trying to be all "edgy grimdark heavy stuff" with ponies. I don't even know how or why I took that as far as I did. All "story" so far has taken itself far too seriously.

I just don't believe in it anymore. I give up.

When I took a step back to examine my work, I realized that what I'd done was nowhere close to what I'd set out to do. This was supposed to be about brightly-colored ponies making wisecracks, but then I started writing expository dialogue.

I spent soooo much time building up a world and a mythology... and even my future plans were centered around building it all up even more. I just don't even want to do it any more. I don't want to continue it.

so what's your plan now? you going to start over or start something new?

The only thing I know for sure is that I can't just do nothing, even if I think I really want that.

Other than that... Hmm, now that I think about it, I'd like collaborating with somebody. Should be obvious by now I've never been in it for the thumbs, not really.
