I dont agree, if people arent interested in the intrument, they wont give a shit even if the player is really good. And alot of people assume bass is really boring, which it can be if you're listening to pop or techno, or something similar (from what I've heard).
And in general, people love guitar most, and bass probably the least in a band, but hey, its different for everyone.

I disagree. The drums are the least favorite instrument in a band, but I still shred, and people still like my talent. Also, here's another solution; pick a new instrument and learn to be a boss at that. For instance, Trombone or harmonica.

You may be right, drums arent that popular either, and of course people still like the bassist and drummers, not just as much. And I have no intention of switching instruments, I love bass, I was only saying that when it comes to what instruments girls like in general, bass is not very loved, at least not from what I've seen or heard.
