oh god, nostalgia.
my local blockbuster had game tournaments every weekend.it' s where i met a whole different group of kids from a different town and we became friends.i even formed a band with 3 of them a few years later.all the employees were fucking cool as hell, the manager would buy us food if we helped pick up empty plastic cases and stuff.
but eventually it stopped.half the store got taken down for a bullshit hair salon.the tournaments stopped.
then the employees left one by one, all sensing the loss. then it became a chipotle.
i still see an employee from that blockbusters every now and then, but rarely.that time in my life was awesome, and i wish i could go back and re-live it all again.
god damn it OP, you gave me such a strong feel.thank you.

I used to have a Family Video by me, then it turned into a Movie Gallery, then it turned into a goddamn ice cream shop. Then the Blockbuster nearby shut down.

I know I'm not the only one that misses blockbuster, that car ride on the way there knowing you get to pick out any game or movie you wanted and get some sweet fuckin candy too. It's not the same anymore you just go to Netflix, theres no anticipation.

There's like, a Blockbuster in every town where I live. Guess it's still doing pretty well here in the UK.
