My parents are exactly the opposite - my mom is cooler about homework, but if I have 1 missing assignment that's not worth shit my dad flips out.

Funny thing is my mom works late at night. She has a thyroid problem. She doesn't give a shit if I'm playing videos games or do homework or even stay up late at 3:00 am when she gets home.

Dad results - HW never done, grades fail, forever alone, hated friends, doesn't want to give me rides to friends, EXACT money for lunch, Buy 1 get 1 free meals at McD's or Carvel.

I hate my dad.

I don't know what you're talking about. I always did my homework when I got home (I live with my mom) and this never happened to me. I tried to do homework with my dad once and he wouldn't help me at all.

Is it weird that my mom is usually really understanding about things and has only yelled at me a handful of times? I see so many people complaining about their "bitch of a mom" here and I wonder... Am I just lucky?

Haha, I drove my mom back from the dentist today after she had to have anesthesia/novacane (whatever the fuck it is) in her mouth so she didn't want to drive, and she FLIPPED THE FUCK OUT when I didn't completely stop at a stop sign. I understand it's the law, but there were 7 cars behind me, and I don't think that the traffic would be any better if every person stopped and went after each time...
