RSS Feeds Valentine's Day
Since I'll be lost in newest uploads (AKA the fifth circle on FunnyJunk Hell), I want to take this time to say "Hi" to Burraki, Zebezian, and snivymaster. Also, a special shout out goes to my grandfather whose 68th birthday is nearing. Two Christmases ago he suffered two terrible strokes, leaving him trapped in a shell. He was my hero. And he still is. Also, a special shout out goes to my grandfather whose 68th birthday is nearing. Two Christmases ago he suffered two terrible strokes, leaving him trapped in a shell. He was my hero. And he still is. Last May, he fell down the stairs when I was taking care of him at my father's house. Apparently he was on an anti-seizure medication for 6 months when he needed it only for 6 weeks. The medicine caused him to frequently lose balance, which was evident by his constant falling. I was back in my bedroom to help care for him. At night I would hear him upstairs with his walker, unable to sleep, constantly falling and making other loud thumping noises until about 3 or 4 am. The tumble caused him to break a vertebrae in his upper neck. Ever since, he's been in a nursing home trying to recover. Now most people would blame the doctor, but he said it was no one's fault. Well, he tried anyways. He's always been an extremely intelligent and outgoing person. But now, he can hardly form a sentence without screwing up. Growing up on a farm and working until his stroke he has been an extremely active person all of his life. Now, to see him unable to walk more than 10 blocks without becoming winded is a pain. And to everyone who's reached this point in the description, I thank you. I realize I'm not at all great at writing, but I think you can understand what I'm trying to say. The real reason for this post was to say this. Thank you, FunnyJunk.
