parents just dont want you use profound language at such a young age, it looks bad when a kid swears. and it reflects on the parents.

1. Swearing is not immature. 2. "adult" Because it is not appropriate for children.

You're quite right. It's just the way children/teens use that term that deems it immature.
#33 - chetoosman (02/14/2012) [-]
because, most adults I know are more immature than I am.

"Retorting against an immature verbal attack by conjugating a proper, eloquent argument that formally addresses your deep hatred or witty remarks towards the offending parties in the manner which society deems it appropriate with use of higher diction to achieve the same theoretical goal."

Fragment. Consider revising.
Also, I don't mind you trying to sound smart in an argument. After all, it IS a valid tactic to overwhelm someone with large words and well-thought insults, but they need to understand that they're being insulted, or else half the fun of insulting them is lost. And anyone who happens to be a grammar nazi (like me), who happens to be watching the event, will likely turn right around and start in on you for trying to sound intelligent and sophisticated while using improper grammar. I'm not saying my own grammar is perfect, but I noticed it and thought I'd point it out. I CORRECT BECAUSE I LOVE or something.

"Because my mum said so"
The only reason swearing is still frowned upon by anyone.
Fuck for an example is one of few words in the english language with more than 10 meanings.
User avatar #28 - DrBobsPatient (02/14/2012) [-]
because adults should be mature in using it, but when they don't they act childish.

Because adults are so mature.
User avatar #20 - unarmedhobo (02/14/2012) [-]
well this is how i would see it :) it is used as adult language because those words have power buuuut, if someone calls you out because you're cussing, its probably because you're using it in the wrong context to just blaintly throwing it around
User avatar #17 - chaosandmadness (02/14/2012) [-]
because people who say that are FUCKING Lamar Smithfots that get upset over fucking WORDS,
