Gunblades? Really? You know they were unreliable when attempted in real life: They broke easily due to repeated firing, they failed often, and the blade on the end messed with the weight, causing them to be difficult to aim. This is why they went out of style and Bayonets were invented.

Actually, they look really stupid. One thing I also forgot to mention was that the gun handle messed with the sword swing, making it's use as a sword pointless.

You've ruined my Final Fantasy 8 inspired ideas of having a totally awesome (but non-functioning) gunblade in my home.

I did nothing but point out the reality of it. Which is why the Gunblade is stupid: It's a really impractical weapon that doesn't work.
