Finally! Someone who agrees that Emerald was awesome!

It wasn't my favourite. Crystal was my favourite but I loved the Battle Frontier in Emerald and Flygon is one of my fave pokemon

Red and blue were first, in yellow you start with pikachu, it takes three hours jst to get to the S.S anne and so of course the bulbasuar you got at level ten in cerulean will have definitely not have reached lvl 32

You can obtain a bulbasaur in yellow. You don't have to start out with him like in r/b/g.

Also Yellow may not have been the first to come out but it is part of Gen 1 and is often grouped with them. So he may not be wrong in saying that yellow came before the other games depending on how you look at it (Gen-wise.)

Yes but Yellow is part of gen 1 (Hence R/B/Y) so saying that Yellow came before all other games is fine so long as he is talking Gen wise.

Yellow came before Emerald. Gen 1 came before Gen 3.

I have the exact same GBC in my desk WITH Pokemon Yellow in it. I have honestly been playing all the original Pokemon games on my iPod, I got them all (Both GBC & GBA)!

Red and Blue were the first in the west, along with Green in Japan and Yellow followed for both Japan and the west. Everyone knows Yellow was based off the anime, and was its own stand-alone version with no others released simultaneously like red and blue and the later twin versions.

You should do what I'm doing! Randomize what you're starting type to go for the whole game! :D I got Ground, a friend of mine got Fire, another got Flying, and another got Electric.
