Buy a forest.

I had a very similar idea, but instead I would adopt 8 or so 6 to 10 year-old. drop them off in a deep part of a forest (without them seeing me.) They will have a set of assorted tools, ax, hammer, shovel, ect. I would have a pre-made small house built, and a garden. every once a week I would seen them messages telling them what to do, or how to do something. I AM THEIR GOD. Oh and I might throw in some fruit roll-ups to them if they run low on food.
