thenastyzulu (02/12/2012) [-] Just going to throw it out there that the war of 1812 was an attack on britfat camps along the boarder which were standing by for the fledgling new American government to fail. The war defiantly went back and forth but when all things considered a brand new country holding their own against the current top dog of the world again was very impressive. It wasn't until the end of the war of 1812 that America was considered a legitimate country by the international community.
