you would have to be dumb to take survival advice from him anyways......one of the first rules is never do things that may harm you etc....and boom he jumps off clifs and takes too many risks that could get him seriously hurt......why.....casues hes never alone and if something happened they just get picked up and finish filming later.........the other guy is alone and doesnt take dumb risks.........ill listen to him first.

He is showing people how to survive if you get into dangerous situations. He even says he puts himself through challenges to show you tips and techniques on how to get out alive. For example, he goes and climbs down a waterfall just to show you how, should you ever be in a situation where you HAVE to climb down a waterfall.

well the thing is, yes you may be stranded in any type of situations but hes too reckless. food water and shelter are top things to find etc but you cant get those if youre hurt esp after taking risks that can get you hurt. anyone that has been through proper survival training knows this....yes hes showing things you can do but hes doing reckless things you shouldnt do casue he knows it will be ok for him and wants ratings etc.....the other guy i forget his name is truely alone and hes more carefull with what he does even in the same situations that bear gets into.....i have ex military dad and other ex military family members who all had to go through survival training they all say to ignore most of what he says....

When would you ever be in a situation where you MUST climb down a waterfall short of being pulled downriver, in which case you won't be able to do anything anyway.

Im sure people have had to climb down a waterfall for one reason or another. Your getting chased by a bear for example and you come upon a waterfall, you can either keep running along the cliff face in which case you get caught easily and mauled to death, or you climb down the waterfall which happens to be the least vertical part of the cliff. Theres one example.

That bear would most definitely catch you before you can reach the cliff and assess which point is the least vertical. Bears can run as fast as 40 MPH.

Well remind me never to go camping with you. Id rather take my chances reaching the cliff and climbing down than just stand there and explaining my logic of the hopelesness of the situation to the bear.

everyone knows your chances of out running a bear are slim....unless you can sprint for way longer and faster then a bear or run fast enough to get to the right tree....even that is chancy casue some bears can climb.....

Well when you're as buff as me you can just snap the bear's neck.
