I prefer Kaiba with Blue Eyes (Lelouche has Geass eyes, he'd have to have the Geass Eyes Knightmare Frame Dragon. Or just roll with the purple eyes like every other YGO guy).

I didn't say it was a bad thing, I just think Ryo was a very underappreciated character and GX and 5Ds put Dm to shame in actually giving development to their quiter ones like Syrus and...okay I've not watched 5Ds but I'm willing to be Crow doesn't get much of a looking but then BAM! Big huge story about him, right?

But Ryo, nah, I think he was as evil as Bakura and extremly underated. Think about it- he's able to put up with Bakura from preschool/early grade school, he's not too traumatized by the loss of his sister and friends from previous schools, he did nothing to stop Bakura nearly killing Pegasus, uses occult cards (no, that wasn't Bakura's Ouija board, it was Ryo's personal deck. he also has happy Lover in there.), Marik doesn't dare lift a finger against him, he builds games like Monster World and Memory World that Bakura can use for Shadow Games...And you just know, the day he snaps, he will be Ryo; Destroyer of Worlds.

Bakura and Ryo, Kiryu, and Bruno, were probably the best characters in all of yugioh in terms of story.
Astral is pretty awesome too, people underestimate ZEXAL. I mean it's no 5d's but it's better than the first half of GX already.

I've not watched Zexal, I'm running through Naruto and the DM yugioh sub (I had to restore my faith in YGO after watching a playthrough or Duellist of the Roses...Yami, a Welshman, called Henry...Seto...from Lancaster...I'd kill to hear these accents on Yami and Seto- dub or sub), the i'll give 5Ds another shot- I watched the first episode right up until he said "sychro summon". NOPE. But yeah I totally need to give it a fair chance. Then I'll go onto Naruto Shippoden, then Zexal.
I have a lot to watch, but i'll get around. I still want to watch the new Digimon season.

Synchro summoning is so awesome. People don't give it a shot, it grows on you a lot.
It sped up the game a bit, but Xyz(Exceeds) are slowing it down again.
Xyz are a lot more balanced than Synchros.

Fansubs, reliability in the hands of one mans boredom.

At least some of the older ones. These days almost all fansub groups mess with font and typesetting. The actual translations are almost always straight from Crunchyroll.

Horrible Subs is an example of a group that does this. They freely admit it. The only bonus is that they also clean up typos that Crunchyroll missed sometimes.

It's sad but I don't blame them. Crunchyroll does a great job.
