I don't see the gay community being lynched, or being sprayed with firehouses during their protests. The courts are siding WITH them, saying prop 8 was unconstitutional.
Last time I checked, it took a long ass time before they did that with the blacks. About a hundred years since the victory of the Civil War to the Civil rights movements in the 1960's.
It's people like you that use chronological snobbery to further your own ideas that turn more people off to what you have to say.
Don't even compare these two.
