I find almost everything on FJ funny, and I enjoy ponies, but even before did, I never understood all the hate, so could someone explain?

However, you fabulous fillies tend to shove this shit that we don't like down our throats (which is somewhat ironic when you consider that your motto is something along the lines of "love and tolerance").

So onto the reasons why when I tried the three random episodes of season one back in the day I found I disliked the show.
1) The over the top femininty of the show as a whole. It's just waaaay too feminine, not the same style of feminine of the older versions obviously as times have changed, but still feminine.
2) I did not see humour or character growth. It could be down to the fact I saw 3 random episodes but there was nothing different about any of the characters from the first time I saw them to the last time I saw them.
3) The episode plots were weak for me and there was no real mention of a series plot holding any of the episodes together in even the slightest fashion as far as I could see.
4) A little to no male character list for me to connect with. Also I am putting the characters themselves being all girl archetypes/stereotypes into here as well as tbh that really threw me off. It felt like it was a "Oh hello female number (insert number here)" situation.
5) The guddamn singing! D: XD
On to why I am annoyed with the volume of pony posts on this site.
It's because the majority to about 85-90% of the posts require one to have intimate knowledge of the show to even get the joke or even appreciate the post and that particular kind of content belongs on a brony site, not here. Other kinds of pony content that others can find funny are welcome to be posted in my eyes. I haven't seen a post that has mad me crack a smile or anything from them, even their "feel" posts are ineffective at raising and sort of reaction from me. :P

anonymous (02/06/2012) [-] I see your point sir :) But i can say something more.... 1.I am watching MLP for about month...I was quite sad person but since i am watching the show I am smiling so often :D again and again sweet smiles :D And too ponies made me correct my grades :) they made my stop my addiction to PC games :) And showed values of life to me and I am grateful for that :D At first when i was trying to watch the show i have beat first 2 episodes easily...but then on 3 ep. I heard rainbow dash talking about wonderbolts and stuff she desire...Suddenly I realized that i have no desire! I was really ashamed of yourself and pissed off that how dare they judge me...I was trying to beat 3 episode 4 times till i dealt with it... I was trying because pony memes and community was just great! So then i joined flamewars vs haters :) .... Fun times,back that time it was not so hardcore...Some time later i calmed down and enjoyed brony stuff and forgotten about flamewars...I would post some MLP content but i can not log in and i can not find the way to fix it...About the annoying fabulous fillies...yeah i saw these guys on internet and you can believe us that we are ashamed for them...maybe they will calm down too.But yes,some people have problem,and they are trying to fix it from the cover of fabulous fillies...I really hate when someone post comment that he do not like MLP and then he gets red toenail clippings...but you know i used to do this even without reading its like defense system against insults by haters...but if he do not curse MLP and just refers his opinion...then there is no problem!MLP brought me where I never thought I would end...reading the stories,fanfics...maybe later book too :D I like you haters because you making us stronger...so you better deal with it because you are going to e loved and tolerated...

Also I am a sad person, all the time, I can't remember the last time I was happy or had a happy thought and MLP does nothing for me at all. It's not a fix for everyone but it was for you. It's good that it was for you but it doesn't change my opinion of what I saw based on another person's experiences.
