pretty sure he meant only his body can't regenerate cells as people our age. as people grow old their cells regen slower, thus causing them easy tip over and they hit the floor everyone walk the dinosaur.

I don't know if they get Alzhiemer's or any form of dementia. They do however, still developmentally stay the same age as their chronological age. For example an 8 year old will still think and act like an 8 year old however she will have the body of an 80 or 90 year old. The cells die off too quickly. Could have something to do with telomeres which are repeating chains of nucleotides at the end of chromosomes. Each time a cell divides a small part of the telomeres are shaved off. Kind of like the ends of shoe laces. Once the telomeres are gone however then when the cell divides part of the chromosome is cut off (chromosomes contain DNA). Then when more and more DNA is cut out its harder for the cells to replicate properly. This is one theory of aging. (Sorry to give you a biology lesson but info if you need it/want it.)

Oh and also contrary to popular belief Alzhiemer's disease and other forms of dementia are not considered a normal part of the aging process. (I am a Nursing student so this is how I know all of this.)
