2012 is such BS, the scriptures that were interpreted were first interpreted to be a new age of glory and neighborly love for all of mankind. However, those translations did not get the recognition they wanted. They later falsified their previous statement and said that 20120 means the world will end. Boom! Lots of fame and recognition, sales in the millions.
Too simple and easy for them, too simple and easy for us not to get, so I don't see why most people don't.
