Although i do believe that the twilight books are worth nothing more than soiled jizz-rags, I completely disagree that Stephenie Meyer is a bad writer. If you read any of her other books, "The Host" in particular, you would discover that she is a very talented and captivating writer.

i too did bang my head in the wall a bit when i read this, but my conclusion was that Blade is actually all vampire, but cince his mother was bitten in the end of her pregnecy the unborn child did not evolve all of the vampire abilities, but is still a vampire nevertheless. a not fully evolved vampire but still an OverPowerd human.

MakiChan (02/03/2012) [-] i laugh at this whole twilight thing...... yes its romance novel 101 pure basic crap anyone can do.....But people forget.....its aimed to females and is a more romantic touch to it for teens.....yes the sparkles are a bit wierd but hey every vampire movie /book etc has something different. some they can go in sun others not, some can eat human food some have a beating heart is in more a mutant then dead thing.....some have normal human emotions some dont or are more animal like.........some garlic holy water and otherreligious things are a weakness and some are not......everyone keeps saying theya re not vampires and thier only main reason is they sparkle.....everyone forgets thats its for teen girls and every vampire thing the creator tries to do something different....i have a sister that talks about it non stop and that how i know more then i care to know casue i dont like porrly written crap..........the whole thing with jacob is that hes a shapeshifter not a werewolf they didnt know it at the time what they were.....yes thats creepy with the imprinting thing too but hey look who its written by........im not defending it nor bashing it since you have to look at it through the intended audience......just like MLP craze.....
