I don't blame him. I remember when I was forced to make these cards when I was young. How should I know what was going on in iraq before I even knew how to tie my shoes?

I had gotten a few care packages from children with nothing but candy. In each ziploc bag was an index card with something written from a child. One read:
Dear Soldier,
Here is a bag of "delicious treats". These treats are called: "Whoppers", "Kit-Kats", "M&M's", and "Skittles".
P.S. These "delicious treats" are called "Candy".

Apparently, you have to be stupid to join the military. But whatever, I got lots of candy.

MFW I made a letter just like that in 7th grade

I dont see what's wrong with this. Might be a first grader with little understanding how war works who was forced to make it in class or something.

"Have a good war" as in "come back safe and alive".
"Have a good war" as in "come back safe and alive".

I'm not surprised, with all the COD cancer that's spreading like wild fire, they don't understand the concept of life or death, only that anyone who is of Indian/Afghan decent is a terrorist and needs to have his brains blown out (hence the poorly drawn shotgun on the card)
