Some Brony content I have gotten at most a chuckle out of and I find the show extremely annoying, and the seemingly obnoxiously vocal section of their fanbase annoying.

I know a guy who owns a site who allows bronys on and he hates MLP.
Just because he is that good feeling when you poop and he happens to be a brony doesn't mean fabulous fillies get a free pass and don't have to take other people into consideration.

You wouldn't want me going onto a brony site and posting a load of pony pictures that involved the ponies getting ripped apart, would you? No, I doubt you would. Because what one person finds funny on one site doesn't apply to the other.
And it's not like I am saying there should be no pony content at all here, I am simply saying that posting content which all users can get is better than posting a load of in-jokes that only a select few will get and completely ignore the rest of the site when they say they don't get it. Of course they don't, they don't watch the show.

Brony specific content, as in content that only a brony would get is what I am saying should be restricted, simply because it is not fair on everyone else and you sure as hell would not like it if the situation was flipped.

As soon as you can bring forth a solution as to getting that compromise when anyone can do what they want within reason, let me know as I have been waiting for that ever since MLP ever came to this site.

I think as a quick fix my idea of posting pony content that any person would get is a half decent one and leaving the things such as the wallpapers, the music video things and the other things that bronys would like on brony sites.

As a more long term one a filtering system would also be best, but if people would filter their content accordingly before they post it then no-one will be in any trouble.

I am a non-fan. Am I being aggressive and rude in asking for content that is more funny for everyone rather than having content that only bronys would find remotely funny?

I don't hate ponies, I hate their posts. So if we don't like it we can skip - yes - but by that logic literally anything could be uploaded and anyone who didn't like what I posted "should just skip". That's not how FJ works. It just takes fun away from browsing FJ with every third post being about ponies. What if there was an ad - like the ad.fly shortened URL's - that made you wait 3 seconds every couple of pictures before viewing the next piece of content. That's how annoying "just skipping" gets after the 600th time.

The thing is though, haters will just toenail clipping down straight up because it's about ponies. if it's funny, i toenail clipping up, if it's trying to be funny but i didn't enjoy it, i generally skip, if it's a retoast, or something that isn't even trying to be funny (like this, for example), i toenail clipping down. i have no problem with ponies specifically, it's just that there are a lot of pony threads that aren't even trying to be funny. those threads, along with feel threads, random fact threads, etc. etc., do not belong on funnyjunk

Valid concerns. And yes, I get annoyed at stoners posting too much as well. No need to talk about being high on the internet all the time.

However, stoners did not post a picture of someone saying to "just skip", gay community did. FJ has periods where there is some new meme or fad that floods the site for a few weeks. Those will always happen, and I'm happy to skip some posts. The problem a significant amount of "haters" have with MLP is not that they have to skip SOME posts, they have to skip TONS of posts. The front page has very few posts about ponies or weed - most of the annoying posts on either end are on pages 2-10. I took a screen capture of page 5, and circled the stoner posts in blue and the pony posts in red.
