How to stay single:
Blame a woman for her rape and laugh about it on the internet.

Excuse the analogy but consider: Is it okay to steal a man's wallet? What if he's just bought a round of drinks in cash? Isn't he sort of asking for it, waving his money around like that? And what if - what if he got so drunk that he wouldn't even notice if you leaned over and plucked it, and didn't have a chance to say no? If he didn't say no, surely he's to blame.

Every single one of you are the reason "Rape culture" even exists. You're the reason we need slutwalks and people brave enough to share their stories. Did you even consider the title - 'rape lol'? Is this really how you view women? Do you really all feel so privileged that you feel that this is yours to joke about and laugh at? If it was your sister or your best girl friend, would you laugh at her and blame her? And do you have any freaking idea how insulting you are being to your own gender by implying that you're all raging hormone monsters who can't control themselves when confronted by a female, and therefore can't be held accountable for their actions?

You make me sick.

actually yeah, ive had a female friend who consistantly drinks herself stupid and does dumb shit, and i laugh my ass off at her for it the next day, and we are still friends because she is woman enough to own up to her own fuck ups, nobody pinned her down, put a funnel in her mouth and forced her to get blackout drunk, so anything that happened after that point is her responsibility and she realizes and accepts that fact instead of trying to blame everyone else

If the guy got drunk and gave people money willingly, should those people be arrested for stealing?
User avatar #337 to #331 - faletheus (02/01/2012) [-]
No but dont get drunk and have sexy time with a drunk women, Comon thats rape man. :D double standards at their finest.
User avatar #371 to #337 - Daeiros (02/01/2012) [-]
so what you are saying is that if a woman is drunk, sex with her is automatically rape?

what if she insists and she is on top? is that rape?

alcohol doesn't make you do things you don't want to do, it makes you care less about the reasons you would normally avoid doing it. If you are in a relationship and you cheat while you're drunk, you just didn't care as much about the fact that you were in a relationship while you were drunk, you didn't let that fact hold you back the way you normally would. You already have the impulse, the urge, the desire to cheat inside you, your sober mind is better at fighting it because you are not supposed to for this reason or that, but the drunk mind does what it wants.

so if she wants it, how is it rape? do we as men need to carry around pre-coital contracts for women to sign before they sleep with us as proof the next day that they willingly engaged in sex?

i find it to be just as bad. I mean why the hell can a man not be raped by a women, but women can just cry wolf all day long.

Fact: Women can't do anything wrong, blame men for everything.
Rape is fucked up, but so is the world.
User avatar #343 to #337 - SgtObvious (02/01/2012) [-]
Exactly, it's a double standard. It's morally wrong, but it's not rape. Taking advantage of someone isn't rape. Forcing sex is rape. Just like convincing someone to give you money isn't stealing, but forcing someone to give you money is.

Truth is, some men are raging hormone monsters, and some women do dress like sluts.

Should they be raped? No. But it's not surprising that some men break and do it anyway. You don't get to taunt the monster without possibly getting hurt. That goes both ways, though. You seem to forget that men can be raped by women as well. Yes, it's wrong, yes the world would be a better place if rape didn't exist, yes it's the rapist's fault. But I'm pretty sure the rapist would pick the easy looking slut over the well dressed girl any day.

And to be honest, I would be wearing a lot more clothes than her if I just got raped.

pic relevant.

MOTHER OF GOD PEOPLE STOP IT WITH THE CLOTHES. CLOTHES DO NOT CAUSE RAPE. RAPISTS CAUSE RAPE. NOT EVERYBODY HAS THE PRIVILEGE OF A RAPE-RESISTANT BURQA TO WEAR OUT IN PUBLIC.

There's a difference with normal clothes, a burka, and a skirt and shirt with your ass and tits falling out.

Last time I checked, it's still a free world so if you'd really want to wear that burka... Go ahead.

Dude, she could be dancing naked on your lap hanging off of a pole. Nothing justifies rape.
User avatar #375 to #345 - Daeiros (02/01/2012) [-]
people aren't saying that it is okay to rape a scantily clad woman, what they are saying is, if she is dressed provocatively, then a man will want to have sex with her, and talking her into it while she is drunk is not the same thing as pinning her down and forcibly raping her against her will, she consents to it, and often initiates it, then turns around and claims she didn't want it, and that is bullshit, sadly, the law is always on the woman's side

I am not a dude. I just wear clothes when I go outside, I don't get piss drunk when I go to parties and I can protect myself in case of need. And no, I'm not that dull bitch, I do know how to have fun and people enjoy my company.

I'm not justifying rape, hell I hate it too. But god, don't be so naive to think that your actions, like described, don't have any repercussions. If I leave my phone lying around on the table when i go to the bathroom, someone is bound to steal it. If I leave my pussy laying around somewhere drunk at a party, someone is bound to fuck it.

Hers a story that happened to me.

Go to new highschool.
Meet new girl
date girl for 1.5 years
She cheats on me
Tells everyone i was forceful and she was just afraid to leave me
trys and push rape charges in court
almost gets me expelled in the last 3 months of my senior year.

But yeah its totally my fault for totally taking advantage of her right?
#322 to #306 - madlyhadley (02/01/2012) [-]
You have absolutely no idea how the justice system treats rape cases, do you. Did you know it's impossible to have any sort of case or press charges without copious amounts of physical evidence? If there's no bruises and lacerations, no case. No semen, no case. No signs of a struggle, no case. Not to say that your story isn't the tragedy of the century and justifies every form of a victim blame on the market. I'm sobbing, really.
#333 to #322 - N. Korean citizen (02/01/2012) [-]
I'm pretty sure if you're raped you'd have at least one of the things you summed up to present to court. If I signs of struggle on me by just being a bit too playful with friends, let alone get raped.
User avatar #329 to #322 - faletheus (02/01/2012) [-]
Seeing we were having sex there was traces of semen, She liked it rough so yeah sometimes there would be bruises. If a woman calls rape everyone points fingers and that man is then hated no matter what the judge says. Ive done been there. And ive seen it happen to other men as well.

Holy crap man.

That sounds like complete and utter shit.
User avatar #316 to #309 - faletheus (02/01/2012) [-]
But hey it was all my fault man i total raped her as she claimed. The only ones to defend me were the ones that knew us as a couple... Other than that i now live 1600 miles from there just to avoid anyone and everyone who tried to attack me in any way they could cause i was a "rapist"
