It's funny because the American government spends 750 billion to promote democracy in Iraq but won't give a **** about it's own citizens.

Colbert and Stewart are some of the most reasonable people in America. It is a strange feeling when comedians make more sense than the entirety of the government.

You just have to compare how much money the usa spends on the military and on the halthcare for it's people.

I have always wondered how these hypocritical, selfrighteous republicans feel they can call themselves Christians. And the way they frown at other people if they don't go to church... wow, I don't think a single facepalm is enough to express my feelings about these people and their ignorance.

Jesus was not forced to help and serve the poor, he did it by choice. He would not endorse the government forcing people to help one another, through redistribution of wealth etc. The key is choice.

He would have been a pretty ****** son of God had he not helped people.

You can help the poor without taking from the wealthy and giving through government force. Instead of keeping the poor poor and hooked on government assistance, why don't we focus on growing the economy and creating new job and economic opportunities?

No. Stephen Colbert is one of the most badass people on the face of the planet. By showing a badass of a lesser degree, you are insulting the man.
