I actually think that Forrest Gump is great movie, it's kinda different than the book, but it's still pretty good

i loved both the movie and the book, im not saying it was bad, it was just blatantly different than the text. of course, it would've been hard to put most of the stuff on the movie for both time and budget reasons.

yes, but different doesn't always mean bad :) oh and 'clockwork orange ' is also good both as a movie and a book, book's better tho, as always
