Actually,there will be no NCR/Legion on Fallout 4.On the final DLC,Lonesome Road,the only canon(aka true to the lore) ending is the one where you Nuke both Legion and NCR,I wish bethesda make it on China,everyone would get instant Intelligence Boost!

In fallout 3, its mentioned that in the commonwealth there is a very high-tech group called the institution. Im assuming that its based off MIT, which is in Boston

The bombs feel on 1950,so it is unlikely to find snowmobiles or ww2 gear,some random vehicles would be good btw,running away from ghouls in a bike...
