Dubstep that consists of WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWHIIIRRRRR is a load of shit.
Good dubstep, that is usually unheard of is stuff like Biocide - Bull Horns or Core Concept.
Bad Dubstep: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w96...
Good dubstep: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOf...
www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv7...
Not that it matters, because alot of people who go frothing at the mouth when people say they enjoy dubstep are just bandwagoners. Apparently i'm not allowed to enjoy a genre of music because other people dislike it.

any 'hardcore' form of music i hate, and it seems to be used as a fad. im not saying that in a sense that i dont give it a chance because i really do but any core metal i dislike, dubstep i dislike, 'post hardcore' or commonly known as screamo i hate, and on an opposite side of the spectrum bubblegum pop sucks as well. at least i think so, i know other people like it but i dont
I only find the blaring, drop-heavy, overly screechy/wubb-y dubstep annoying.
Dubstep is really just half time (2/2) drum n' bass music.

This is a really chill dubstep song that I listen to when running.
It's nothing like Skrillex (who isn't really a dubstep musician at all) and has no real drop.
Give it a try for me? If you don't like it tell me why and I'll see if I can find something more to your taste.

i know right? the thing that freaks me out the most is this:
There are people who make that
there are people who like that
there are people who listen to that on a regular basis
these people walk and breed among our society.

But how? How can you like that? Can I just take like, Soma from Deadmau5 and turn up the BPM and 1 million fucking people will like it? It's just so fucking nasty to listen to. There's ins't any emotion in it. It's one sound just played at 100x faster than its normal speed.

by dubstep i think you are referring to skrillex mainly , well i don't like skrillex but i really like dubstep , skrillex is like a newLamar Smith in dubstep compared to dodge&fusky for example , try listening some older dubstep and i think you might enjoy it because its not all about drops :) if you don't its okay :) ... anyway i suggest dodge&fusky - minus one
I've played piano for 12 years. I usually make orchestral metal over the internet with a guitarist from Norway and a vocalist from Virginia. Sometimes I like to dabble in electronic music. (sorry to brag, but I'm trying to get a point across)
I can make trance. I can make techno, terrorcore, DnB, anything like that. Granted, it's not great, but it's passable.
I cannot make dubstep. The amount of knowledge that goes into synths transcends the musical talent required. Sure, they don't have to play instruments, but holy shit, they must have went to college to learn how to do what they do.

**eliisfresh rolled a random image posted in comment #198 at Father??????? Is it you???????? ** Computer generated music isn't just typing a few things into a computer and you get it there's a ton more than just that. There's a lot behind making any type of music. Computer generated music often can be generated with physical machines with the help of electricity and takes talent to tune, create sounds, and to understand the music theory behind it.

**eliisfresh rolled a random image posted in comment #2 at Oh Snoop Dogg ** Same thing with any kind of music. Every type of music has this to do with it. Sure you can pinkie me down because you think what i am saying is opinion but overall it is fact that you must use talent to make any sound distinct and give it emotion. Same with dubstep and electronic music. I am a music producer, and it is easier to understand if you make music
And what is a computer but a different type of instrument? You can't just go 'computer, make me a dubstep/techno/corebeatbreakstyle song!' You have to first learn how a turntable/DJ setup works, which is like learning an instrument in itself, and after that you need the same training in music as any other artist, as well as the creativity required to actually make music. Who are you to say that an artist can't put emotion in a song if it's made with the help of a computer?
Computers make everything perfect. That's why bands don't sound as distinct as they used to: They all run their music through protools and fine comb out any mistakes. It's those small mistakes and nuances to one's playing that give a band distinct sounds. That sort of thing is lost when everything is done with computers.

As strange as it may seem, even I find myself disagreeing with it, all music is good in it's own right. It is the expression of ones self and should never be taken for granted. Musicians, bands, music groups, ect. can always suck, but the music they produce is not to be trifled with. Just a thought.
