Smh...Do you people not realize that in pedmas when the next step is multiplication and division you work from left to right, same with the addition and subtraction.
So it would be 6/2(3)=6/2*3=3*3
Or... 6/2(1+2) distrube the 6/2 so it would be 6/2+6=9
So it would be 6/2(3)=6/2*3=3*3
Or... 6/2(1+2) distrube the 6/2 so it would be 6/2+6=9

stupid kids you do the braces first, thats 3, then you do 6/2 which is 3 then 3*3 which is 9 now shut up

There is actually no "left to right" rule in math. This problem is ambiguous and doesn't have a clear solution. That's why fractions are used instead of the stupid division sign, to avoid ambiguity.
