I still don't get how grown men can genuinely enjoy a show made for 5 year old girls it's almost pitiful. Half of them are bandwagoners anyway which makes it even more sad

you really don't see them too much outside of the pony thread or pony channel, but i felt this gif was appropriate.

Lets say I didn't like Skyrim. (Over 9000 hours in the game, but that's not the point)

So, I see all of these Skyrim posts (I understand there aren't too many now, but they were fucking everything around the release date), and I don't like them because the game isn't my favorite thing in the world, so what do I do? Rage and post shit that's not funny and then have the balls to complain about unfunny posts? No, I skip and move on. I think we all just need to learn to stop whining about everything and making front page posts out of this stuff.

Do it the Samurai Jack way.
Some of the people he met were... weird
Some were elephants, some were dogs.
He treated them all fairly and fought for justice.

I said this once before, but now seems more fitting than ever to say it again,

Funnyjunk is one of the best examples of hypocrisy in the world. We fill our front page with post after post straining how superior we are to others, in terms of intellect, tolerance and taste, and then when My Little Pony - arguably the most harmless thing on the net - comes along, we become as laughably maddened as anyone we troll, or look down upon.
Users who were once level-headed are filled with rage, over a cartoon, and think up lists of needlessly in-depth reasons to attack or defend the thing, and for some reason, they need a plentiful supply of reaction pics while they're at it. Those who could make others laugh or think become "that guy who's a knight for/against ponies".
The children the cartoon was made for have proven themselves more intelligent than us.

And we wonder why people don’t change their ways when we stick a "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" pic next to their words or actions? because no matter how dumb they might act, at least they're not losing their minds over this.

There isn't even a joke here. Just someone hoping to start a shitstorm, and everyone, gay community and others both, fell for it - for 20 long pages, I might add. I see there's a post on front Page regarding religion today, quite likely mocking it, and yet, here this is. How can we look down on anyone when this is what we spend our time and energy arguing about?

And finally, this'll be pinkieed down, because it's "too much to read", or a dent in someone's delicately bolstered views. Do we still think we're such a clever bunch?
