EDIT: As many of you asked for the source, Credit to mygrapefruit on 9 gag. (His watermarks can be seen on every pic btw.)
I did not give credit, because the first tme i uploaded it, i gave, and left the 9 gag logo too. The content got 10 thumbs down in like 5 minutes, and i did not want you, to miss this extremely epic work because of a stupid site war.

After looking thru the comments, ive seen many emotional, and intelligent comments, well, much more than i normally see under rage-comics and pointless unfunny contents. Thank you for the lots of thumbs, so more fellow funnyjunkies could see, and maybe think about these influential pictures.

Good sir, I don't know how you did it, but you've managed to do what I've dreamt would happen since I knew what history was, create a copy of what the past looked like with modern color picture technology. You have won my heart. If I could ask a request, please put the burning of the Hindenburg in color.

June 11, 1963, Thich Quang Duc, a Buddhist monk from Vietnam, burned himself to death at a busy intersection in downtown Saigon to bring attention to the repressive policies of the Catholic Diem regime that controlled the South Vietnamese government at the time. Buddhist monks asked the regime to lift its ban on flying the traditional Buddhist flag, to grant Buddhism the same rights as Catholicism, to stop detaining Buddhists and to give Buddhist monks and nuns the right to practice and spread their religion.
