One, I've seen this before. Not just these ideas in a list. This EXACT list because I remember getting mad at the fucked up spelling before.
There's nothing wrong with gay marriage because it doesn't effect the people who aren't partaking in it. And I'm gay, so fuck all the people who oppose it.
I don't give a shit if you smoke, if you want to waste your money and damage your body, that is your right because it is legal, but don't do it around me.
I'm pro choice. In some cases abortion is reasonable, in others it isn't. Adoption is a better option but, I'm not against abortion. It's the mother and father's choice.

Drugs not only harm the person doing them, but the people around them. For example, a meth head lives next door to my house and is always showing up at our door for various random shit, and I suspect he probably wants to rob us. He also owns a gun, and while my brother was out shooting targets in our back yard (for sport) he comes in my yard and pops off 9 rounds "I have a gun too herp derp, but I'm a felon don't tell anyone". We always hear him arguing with his girlfriend and throwing shit around, and this one time he decided to repeatedly ram his car into his house. Not even fucking kidding. There's other shit, my point is, drug addicts aren't a productive members of society and they are more likely to harm others because they are strung out. As for weed, it's fucking stupid. Not as dangerous I will admit, but it just changes people. It's a waste of money, and just pointless. My cousin who had honors classes and did really well in school started smoking, dropped out, and now just sits at home fucking her boyfriend all day and smoking weed. And my other cousin is 16, and pregnant. They don't represent every person who smokes marijuana, but all the other kids I know that do it only do it because it's considered cool, and that's all they fucking talk about all day. Burn outs are annoying to be around.

The problem with your argument is that some of those issues have second hand consequences. Your argument is that if, say, someone dislikes citizens owning guns that they themselves should not own one. Well that doesn't really eliminate the problem at hand. Just because they do not own a gun does not give them super human abilities against people who do own guns. They are still as much a victim of a shooting then someone who does own one.

Also, even if I someones does not smoke cigarettes, that does not eliminate the potential danger they are in by being close to someone who does. Your argument is completely flawed in this way. The people fighting cigarettes and guns are not the people who do or own them. It is people who fear, for whatever reason, their safety. Simply saying "Lol, just don't do it yourself" doesn't fix the issue that people have with it.
