As a good friend of mine would say.... you're an idiot. Parents are the ones that name kids and decide on the spelling (unless the child has it legally changed at some point in life). I could name my child Joe and have the spelling for the name be "pasta". That's the way that shit works.

Well, that's my little sister's name as well. There are lots of frighteningly spelled names out there... my cousins have traditional Irish names, and they're ridiculous. Aoife (pronounced Eva) and Maighread (pronounced more-eed). So... yeah. Names and shit
