It's had to put in words, everyone's "line" will be different, to me a good sign of whether it was in bad taste or not is whether I personally found it funny. But I'm not claiming to be some world expert on racism :P
I'm sure what I find funny would often shock people I know but as far as this site goes, that was only a little too much.

Mmm, i agree. And i doubt there is ever a world expert on racism, all it requires to know about it is a defination and some well placed empathy. Personally i think that anything is funny that has not directly hurt anyone and is obviously said playing on generalisations that excist in society, i think the real humour in racist jokes is how STUPID racism is, and that it is fun to play on the disgusting stigma's that excist out of mockery. I mean that comment was just pure hatred tied in with such little humour that you and I so if find offensive, both because it is callous and just funking dumb. But to clarify, i have a mental sense of humour too, i laugh at so much messed up stuff, but never inconsiderately :)

Well the exact definition of racism is to make another person feel racially inferior to you, so making a genuine statement that an entire race is less intelligent or lazier then another is racism, but it is all based on intent. You clearly meant to offend there, therefore it is racist, however racial jokes do not mean to offend or at least i do not mean them to, just play on stereotypes, (which i am sorry for constantly saying but is true) and they never do offend or are racist.

I know sorry. Its the politics and news etc that makes me hate english people, because we're only ever shown the shit storm breed never the decent people. Im sure theres plenty of english people that hate scottish people for the same reason.

If politics gave scotland the respect it earns for itself there probably wouldn't be an independence referendum in 2013/14. (Respect meaning, when scottish person does something good = britfat, when its bad = scottish, Riots only occur in england, somehow their britfat, but when theres a riot in northern ireland, its irish.)

The politics are also down to my hatred for indians and paki's (NO PAKI ISNT A RACIST TERM, IF THATS RACIST THEN SO IS CALLING A SCOTTISH PERSON A SCOT). Since theyre all portrayed as terrorists, then when their over here they speak their language, wear their burka's etc so we're left curious.

Other than that im not really bothered, i only get pissed when immigrants come in, get free education, free housing, free money, and then get the jobs whilst theres shit loads of native people homeless.

I agree with you on the immigrant thing, mostly. I think we should do what we can to help people in poverty but all this fear of racism I mentioned earlier drives the government to treat them better than their own people.
And on the politics/media thing: I couldn't agree more, 100%. It's just (kinda sadly) much more entertaining to hear about the bad shit people do, like blow stuff up :\ So that's all we hear about and most people end up thinking that ALL of a certain group of people are like that.

I dont mind helping them, they should just help them in another way. Like were doing with africa, send them food and clothes etc. Not invite them over to give them housing that could be given to homeless people, give them jobs that there are plenty of people needing, and let them take advantage of the education system (especially the free education in Scotland).

I say. I've got a lot of female friends and I don't treat anyone of them less. I am however more comfortable with pretty girls :/. But I'm nice to everyone anyways. If you are not sure about your attractiveness you should just put the bar alot lower. Also, hug every girl you know. Having a lot of female friends doesn't make you gay and even if you don't have a relationship with these girls you're still "wanted". Also have guy friends with who you are comfortable and not just with the popular people. no-one likes a tag-a-long guy.

Wouldn't call myself shallow, but I do have certain reasons to set standards. I can get around with pretty girls easier as they are not as needy as a lot of ugly girls often are. Example: *Doing something funny with a pretty girl* "Derp, stop it :P". theyre just not all the same

Personally, I prefer a guy who spends time on the internet. We would have more in common and I find that generally guys like that have a good sense of humour, sure the guys I'm friends with tend to spend less time on their appearance, and I think it's important to be physically attracted to someone if you want a relationship with them, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stick them in the friendzone just because they make kitchen jokes and I don't cum my pants whenever I see them. The friendzone, in my opinion, is just an excuse for girls who think they're too good for some guys. i agree about the high standards, though.
