Are you a complete dick? Or just a newRon Paul hater? Mars's total mass is about a third of the earth so how can the gravity be unitarily larger than earths? And as for pressure, Mars is almost pretty much dead and has almost no atmosphere. How can you get pressure build up?

mars is smaller than earth which means that its gravity field is weaker.
on the other side, being on venus without a protective suit would LITERALLY vaporize you.
and mars's atmosphere is much much more similar to the one we have here.
