And la les s ouit have their head covered. And in
Deuteronomy, a marriage is only! valid if the woman is a
virgin, and she should he executed if she is not... and
that anyone who commits adultery should be stoned to
death. in Mark, divorce is prohibited. I assume for
homosexuality, you' re referring to Leviticus 1& 6: "You
shall not he with a male as one lies with a female, it is an
abomination.," A similar verse occurs two chapters later,
in Leviticus 20: 13: it man who sleeps with another man
is an abomination and should be executed," Leviticus is
a holiness code written 3, 000 years ago. It also includes
prohibitions against round haircuts, tattoos. working on
the Sabbath, wearing garments of mixed fabrics, eating
pork or shellfish, getting your fortune told, and even
playing with the skin ofa pig, (There goes football!). I
believe in morality, which is doing right regardless of
what I am told... not in religion, which is doing what I
am told regardless of what is right. welcome to
vow own interpretation of the Bible and of politics, of
course. but for me. I need more than The Bible says so"

It's easy, let me explain:

Jews only follow the old testament
Christians follow both.

Questions?

Ok, I'm Christian, and all of that is B.S. right there. All of those things that she stated were from the Old Testament, but Jesus' death occurred after the Old Testament. When Jesus died on the cross for us, He excused all of those ( round haircuts, having women's heads covered, working on the Sabbath, etc...) If you look through the New Testament, it excuses those, because of Jesus dying for us. And some of those, we aren't supposed to do still, because God finds it wrong, and has prohibited us from it. I guess giving humans a choice, really did set us the wrong way. Goodness, FJ'ers make me sick sometimes. Why can't you leave other people's religion choices alone? It's kind of sad.

The new testament also states that a man lived for 3 days inside a giant fish. Does that answer your question?

Unfortunately, I've seen something similar to this one multiple times, and it's all due to people's ignorance and misunderstanding. The laws of the Old Testiment were done away with when Christ entered the picture, thus the New Testiment. That's why christians are allowed to eat pork, for example. Jews still don't eat pork because they don't recognize Christ as the Messiah, thus still living in the Old Testiment and waiting for one.

But as they say, ignorance is bliss.

Or in this case, humor.

To Religious People: Whatever your faith may be, cool, that's awesome, just don't shove it in other people's faces and shit. Like on billboards and commercials. Many people believe differently than you, get the fuck over it. Now, I realize some people are an exception to this rule, and salute those people.

To Athiests/whatevers: Shut the fuck up. We get it, you think you're better because you don't believe in a "magic man in the sky", but you still have the primordial problem; you can't get it through your fucking skulls that there are people who think and believe differently than you. Once again, I realize there are exceptions to this rule.

Here is my personal code:

1) See things from other people's perspectives. i.e. "Take a walk in their shoes."

2) View people based on their actions, not by there beliefs.

3) Treat people like you want to be treated. I realize this one can be VERY hard, and revenge is oh so sweet, but hey, no one's perfect.

4) Try and always do the right thing.

5) Above all: DON'T BE A FUCKING DICK.

I realize and accept that I fail many of these daily, but like I said, no one's perfect.

Also, there is no reason gays/lesbians/bisexuals/transexuals/what-the-fuck-evers should not have the same rights and privileges as everyone else. They are people, just like all of us. Whether you choose to except that or not is not my problem.
On another note, anyone who thinks that a specific race/gender/nationality/belief/religion/sexual orientation is better than any other, is the cancer of society, and needs to remove themselves from said society, and live on a fucking island away from everyone else.

tl;dr Human race, get your shit together.

I'm going to sleep...

hey jesus Richard Simmonss...if you were raised muslim, you'd believe in Islam. Just because your fucking parents told you god is real doesn't mean it is. Your reality is so warped by what you've been raised to believe that you're stuck in this mental prison commonly referred to as "religious belief." Reality is so amazing and beautiful and I have such a hard time believing that all there is in the end is just heaven and hell- eternal pain or eternal pleasure. That's too bleak, that's too boring, and the concept of those two dimensions are boring ideas created by man. Besides, even if there was a god, what would make humans so special that only we get it's undivided attention? We are nothing in the grand scheme of things, but yet your experience is complete unique and it is your own. It will never be replicated again, so make the most of it. Don't devote your life to some made up "god." Live for yourself and make your existence meaningful. (yes, I do realize it's contradictory to tell someone to do as they please, yet not to believe in religion, but you get it).
