At the end of the prologue, and in some trailers, it shows Bane holding Batman's mask. Also, on Bane's movie poster, it shows Batman's broken mask. My guess is, we'll see Batman get his ass kicked in this one. Here's a pic of the poster.

Actually, I think Bruce Wayne is going to die at the end of The Dark Knight Rises, and be replaced with a new Batman. Would make for an interesting change.

Well, it does say "The Legend Ends". Although, it'd be kind of stupid to call the movie "The Dark Knight Rises", only to kill him at the end. Not really rising, is it?

The idea is that if the old Batman dies, a new one would "rise" to take his place. Ever heard the phrase "heroes die, but legends live forever"? Batman is more than a man- he's a legend, and that legend will carry on if someone steps up to take the place of the original Batman.

That was the basis of Batman Beyond- a new person taking up the mantle of The Dark Knight. They did it in the comics, too- some guy took over as Batman after the Knightfall arc while Bruce was recovering from a broken spine, and Dick Grayson (Robin #1/Nightwing) became the next Batman when Bruce was thought to be dead.

Batman's not a man. He's an ideal, an identity, a legend. Bruce Wayne will die, but Batman will live on through someone else.

Ahh true, true. Never though about the comics. I remember Dick becoming Batman for a while, and I watched Batman Beyond as a kid. I suppose you could be right. But, since it's the end of the series, or Nolan says it is, why would they leave us with a cliffhanger like that? Granted, it'd be one hell of a cliffhanger. But, if nobodies there to make a 4th film with the new Batman, why do it? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

That 7 minute prologue was the best film of 2011

It was poison Ivy's serum that gave bane his super human strengths, it only because of her he exists.

That ONLY happens in Batman and Robin, which is the worst Batman movie in existence. In the comics, Bane and Poison Ivy have nothing to do with one another. Besides, Nolan is only using villains that are plausible in reality, so that means no Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Man-Bat, etc.

Well a guy named Dr. Pavel who was in the prologue is the guy who gave Bane his mask in this one. With it he feels no pain at all.

yea. i was level 14 and i put it on master difficulty. has a bit harder but it wasn't what i expected.

I found it to be anticlimactic to the extreme.

Still a great game, just wish the end was better.

Yea, I liked Soverngarde. I was a werewolf, so I was surprised to be let in. that would of horribly messed up the sotryline if they didn't, by hey, CLOSE ENOUGH.

well, you went through th portal, you didn't actually die. only nord heros go. even if your a nord, you still have a dragon soul in you.

Alduin was surprisingly easy for me as well too.

To be fair, I was decked out in Daedric Armor, but I was on adept.

Lol. I was still stuck in Blades Armor at that time. It wasn't until afterwards that I raised my smithing and made my current set of Dragonplate armor.

i found the game to be surprisingly unchallenging...but that might have been from my Daedric armor from level 12...

In the end, Alduin was just another dragon. He died like one, too. The end of the main quest marked the biginning of my hatred of Bethesda. I would do other quests, like blood on the ice, but they are broken. Not to mention the gamefreezing and crippling lag, especially on Playstation. Bethesda had five years to build up the best game ever, but they left it broken and incomplete, so they could build up the hype instead, and drag the pain out slowly by releasing "fixes" that don't work, and saying they will release expansion packs and make this the last Elder Scrolls game. They just... didn't even try, and I take it as a personal "fuck you" to everyone who plays Skyrim, especially PS3 users, considering the broken condition it's still in on PS3.
