It weren´´t the CD´´s but the vynil plates....don´´t know if you know what hat is, but tey were designed to take beethovens symphony. By the time CD´´s were introduced to the market the disc had already established the 72 minutes standard. The compact Disc (or short CD) is named after the Disc.
