The black rhino officially became extinct about a month ago. The youngest generation won't even know what a rhino is soon.
That was only the West African black rhino. There are still three other subspecies that, while really endangered, still exist in the wild, as do white rhinos, along with Indian, Javan, and Sumatran rhinos.
They're all super-endangered though.
