tribute to a breed tortured by ignorance

sorry, im just sick and tired of people blaming pitbulls when they know nothing about them..... yay! front page, thanks guys before you start laying down statistics on pitbull attacks... realize 1. plp dont report ALL dog attacks 2. most dogs that are mixes are considered pitbulls... even though they dont have an ounce of pit blood in them 3. most dogs that are considered pits are really mastiffs (ancient breed who where bred as war dogs by romans) and finally 4. media hears of a dog bite ITS AUTOMATICALLY CALLED A PITBULL even if it was a chihuahua... because PITBULL ATTACKS SELLS

I'd trust pit bulls with my life.
Now pugs, man... do not **** with pugs, because they don't want to stop at biting you. No, if so inclined, they can penetrate and rape your very soul with that devilish gaze of theirs.

The eyes...

Pits are bred for violence because of their brute strength and constant need to please their owner(s). Any dog can be bad or violent, it's all due to how they are raised. Pits are not naturally violent. They are a loyal, yet protective, breed of dog. They are also the best breed of dog an owner could ever hope to own. (Pic meant for the negative nancy commenters).

I found this cute little guy out side of my work caught in a fence crying his little butt off.. This poor thing was probably left to die because of it's breed or because it was unwanted..

Now look at my baby boy who still thinks he's a lap dog. A year and a half later he's the most loyalist dog on this earth.. Sleeps with me every night and an amazing cuddlier.. How can you turn down this happy face!

**saladtongsofdeath rolled a random image posted in comment #9 at School Girl Rage( must watch) ** i once took my dog to the vet where he saw a long haired collie and being the 3yr old puppy that he is, he wanted to play with it... (now, i live in a upscale town called the hamptons where everyone has a stick shoved so far up their ass, they have to floss for splinters) and she screamed saying get that thing away from my dog!!!! to which i said: "dont worry, i only trained killer to attack pure bred dogs..... your mutt is safe".... needless to say, i got daggers stared at me for the entire time i was there by her

i trust my pit bull to be left alone with my children, because i know he won't hurt them. in fact there have been several occasions when my pit bull allowed himself to be hurt to prevent my children from being hurt. now that is a true friend worthy of trust (picture totally related, that's my pit bull Jack with my son

This is my baby Sweetie When we got her she was 2 years old and extremely skittish toward everything she wouldn't come up to anybody. She came from a pit breeders house and he and his dogs abused her because she was the runt of his litter of mini pits. She ended up at our neighbors house for a year she was very very very skinny and she was kept locked in a cage outside with worms. they weren't feeding her. My boyfriend went over there and asked if we could take a look at her. we gave her food and in 10 minutes was the most loving thing ever. She is my baby girl and I love her. She is now health and happy in a house that loves her. She even has play mates. We have a Mini Boxer a mini Lab and a giant lab/chow.

****** terrible owner giving these dogs a bad name. I have a pit named Brutus, I picked him up off the street, starving, patches of fur missing, rope around his neck tight as **** . He's the best dog a man can have. Always happy and never hurt anyone. That dog loves everyone and everything. I love that dog.

Hate the deed not the breed. That is just like saying all humans should be banned. We cause wars and murder innocent people. ANY dog can grow up to be vicious and violent with an asshole owner. Just as ANY dog can grow up to be amazing with an owner that treats them right.

AHHHH WATCH OUT CLEARLY IT'S GOT THE BLOODLUST IN ITS EYES

For those of you who are stupid, that was sarcasm. For those of you who aren't, spare this upload a thumb. One of the few feels that needs to be shared.

when i was 7 or 8 we had a pitt named Gypsy, and she was the biggest damn baby, she got along with everyone and we could play with other animals (even rabbits, taddiemitts) and she would know it was us. the only person she ever attacked was my stepfather (NOW before you assume, this is a story about a dog who turned bad, it isnt) she attacked him because he brutally beat me and she defended me, and when it was over he took her out to his old farm and killed her because she got in his way. she was a kickass friend and died for me, so those who want to pick on the breed can suck my dick, this is one thing i will not stand for. it depends on how they were raised, a rescue dog or one with a bad owner will attack something, but trained right they can be the greatest breed in the world, the only problem i have with them is that those who bred them for dog fights got them so ****** up and inbred that they have health complications and dont live as long as labs or any other breed their size.
