He did Crysis 2 too...
Pretty much any time you are watching a movie and you notice that you really like the music, chances are, it's Hans Zimmer.

WOW! COOL! I CAME HERE TO LAUGH BUT INSTEAD IM LEARNING ABOUT FAMOUS PEOPLE!
I love Hans Zimmer but I'm sorry my fave composer HAS to be Ennio Morricone.
He did The Good The Bad and The Ugly theme and within that lies the BEST soundtrack song ever 'The Ecstasy of Gold'

I'm sorry, but he did NOT compose the theme for pirates of the caribeen, it was some romanian guy who made it.
AND ALSO YOKO SHIMOMURA, GREAT VIDEO GAME COMPOSER. KINGDOM HEARTS, POKEMON, alot of other games as well.
I love this guy. Most of the movies I figured he composed the soundtracks to were surprises :)

I feel like if Hans Zimmer and John Williams got together (maybe with a splash of Michael Giacchino) and scored a movie, it would win all the Oscars. Even one's it's not eligible for.
Best Picture? Whichever one these three men scored. It could be "Scary Movie 5" and it would win solely based on the score (that'd have to be one kickass score though).

Don't forget about John Williams:
Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Wars, Superman, E.T, Harry Potter, Fiddler on the Roof, Jaws, Home Alone, Saving Private Ryan, Memoirs of Geisha, Hook
I'm sure there's more but that's what I can remember
