Eh, I think its to each there own. Just a lot of vegans are really stuck up and righteous, though i've met a few that are, nah its fine if you eat it, its just my choice. Personally, I love vegetables and meat. and when i eat meat i make sure not to waste it. Its great if you dont want animals to die but not every bodies going to think the same way or switch over. Like me, i like meat, but I make sure and tell others to not waste any food be it vegetables or meat. Imagine how many less animals would die if we managed to get people to stop being wasteful. (Which admittedly is a easier task to get them to stop wasting then to get them to just switch over)

As breekachu said, it won't stop the industry completely, atleast not in our lifetime. But it decreases the demand for meat. If you consider the number of vegans/vegetarians compared to a couple decades ago, it's grown quite a bit. And it will most likely continue to grow. We honestly have no need for the consumption of meat anymore with so many alternatives out there, so that argument that we were created to eat mean therefore should still eat meat is invalid. Again, I'm not trying to shove this down your throat like many other vegans/vegetarians try to do, I just want people to understand that we're not trying to save the world or assume that we're better than everyone else just because we choose to not eat meat. It's just that select few that give everyone else a bad name, as usual.

Our family has a farm. We raise about a dozen cows and 60 chickens a year, all organic. We also grow about 50 acres of corn, also organic. We keep what we need and sell the rest as extra income. It's very little work and we eat all the delicious meat, all animals free-range, all organic, and killed as humanely as possible. So, how bout No to your silly little trollish attitude. Not everyone lives off mcdonalds quality beef.

It's a very real thing that's been taken advantage of due to loose terminology for organic status by the FDA and shit, but it really just means all natural, no bullshit, fed, watered, and butchered animals. I know exactly what you mean, when i see something on a box a crackers or some shit that has the word organic in the title for no other reason that to basically masturbate their product in front of us, i put it down and give it very simple answer.
NO.
NO.
Not that it's necasarily the norm, but the fattest woman i know is 100% vegan, and she has been for about 15 years. She's like 400 pounds and can barely walk, she's a teacher an my campus. It doesn't matter what you eat, if you eat enough of it, you're gonna be a fatass.
