Just because basilbrush knows the author of a popular series doesn't mean you need to use such offensive language. You should be ashamed of yourself.

To be honest, Twilight isn't that bad. I think the main reason why anyone doesn't like it, is because of the fan base it attracts. It is ridiculously overrated, but it's still kinda interesting. And I'm a die hard Harry Potter fan. I would pick Harry Potter over Twilight any day, but I still have to admit, Twilight is an ok series. I know this is going to get hella negative thumbs because I'm actually voicing my opinion, but I don't care. This isn't going to get deleted by me.

I don't know who J.K. Rowling is because I had a life when I went to school.

I know I'm going to be buried in red thumbs for this, but here we go.

I think Harry Potter is practically the most overrated series I've read, second only to the twilight saga. Sure, HP was a good series, but, in my opinion, not worthy of the fandom it has. I honestly think the HP movies were superior to the books. The screenplay was pretty damned good, and the cast was brilliant.

Twilight, of course, was one of the most horrible things I've ever read being a heterosexual male. Every children's book I've ever read had a far superior message. Twilight just teaches to bitch about everything that isn't 100% perfect, and Stephanie Meyer is a ******* joke. She disregards all negative criticisms (even having her brother manually filter all of her emails that don't say "OH MY GAWD STEFANY <333 I ******* LOVE YOU **** ME NOW".)

TL;DR, Twilight was horrible, and Harry Potter was lukewarm. Sorry to those whom I've offended.

I watched Twilight once. About thirty seconds in it really started to hurt. So after about 4 minutes I gave up. Later on my friends told me I hadn't been watching Twilight, I'd been jerking off with sandpaper. So I asked them what the difference was.

I'm definitely a Potter fan. I grew up with that **** , and I'm not afraid to tell everyone that I love it. As for Twilight, I'm not the type to judge something prematurely, so I'll admit that I read all 4 books. The vampires were incredibly lame compared to their classic counterparts, yes, but that's not what bothered me. It was Bella herself. A bland, boring, depressing girl whose willing to crash a motorcycle and fling herself off a cliff just because her boyfriend leaves her, toy with another guy's emotions before rejecting him, and then get knocked up straight out of school? Sorry, but I'll take a brainy, brave, confident Hermione over that any day. It's really too bad that so many young girls would rather look to Bella as a heroine. She has nothing to offer.

I usually don't cry in movies, but I just couldn't help it at this part. So sad.
