I watched all the films with my girlfriend, it's actually a good plot, just some of the details that i find make it unbearable. I actually think that the book has very strong reffrences to Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights", in which the main character Cathy (Bella) has to make a choice between marrying Edgar Linton (Wealth; Edward) and Heathcliff (Poverty; Jacob). All the little details like the sparkling vampires kinda ruined it for me. Oh i almost forgot, Opinon = Red thumbs. ahh well.

I read all the books for ***** n giggles.
I agree it's not a bad plot but it's really overused. Like the whole romeo and juliet thing, it's a forbidden love. Also what you said about wuthering heights. I've seen this concept TONS of times. I dont hate the series, I just thought it was boring and predictable (Except the part with the demon baby. Wtf?)
