ive was fighting with people on FB all day about how all they were concerned about was that stupid wishing shit while i was individually thanking the veterans in my life and set a status to thank all other i dont know but do a huge part for the country. fuck 11/11/11 thank you to all the past, present and future soldiers of America!
We had a veterans day parade in our town...one problem....no Veterans showed up. Turns out they where all inside playing Skyrim.
What's with all of the recent posts about veterans on the front page all of a sudden? If a thumbwhore says "hurr durr thank the veterans" how the fuck is that funny, interesting, or original? I appreciate what the veterans did for us but damn...fj gives these thumbwhores way too much attention.
That's great and all but this really isn't worthy of over 3000 thumbs. I might be wrong, but I think that the content on the front page should take the most effort and be funny/original. I've already seen a bunch more posts about veterans in newest content so this isn't anything new anyways.
Almost 5 years ago, a very brave man died serving for his country. I met him around 5 years ago and he died in April. He was in his mid-twenties and has his whole life ahead of him; he gave it up for his country. Thing about that next time your mom asks you to take out the trash, that he died so you could have things to put in the trash can. I would like to honor him, 1st Lt. Kevin Gaspers. Born April 8, 1981 and died 26 years later on April 23, 2007.
