I live in Denmark and no.. we don't really get paid to go to school.
When you are over 18 and studying you can APPLY for SU. SU is an amount of money you get every month. and is usually used for paying rent, food, transport and so on. (if you live by yourself of course) If you still live with your parents, then you just get free money for not really anything. which is kinda great!!

You can APPLY, yes, and who is denied our SU? No one. I get roughly 2700,- danish Kroner pr. month, (500 USD) and I live at home. (My parents are divorced though)

I'ts just that i think SU. is a bit overrated.. many people often get worked up over a amount of money that in reality isn't that much. :)

Yes, that's right. And many people doesn't even get an amount worth talking about. It's onyl the ones with divorced parents, live far from the school, live alone, or parents with a low income that get the higher amount :-)
