Anyone believe the theory that certain governments around the world have undeniable proof of aliens, they just hide it to protect religion? I'd like to think that.

Existence of aliens wouldn't discredit religion. Just because aliens exist doesn't mean God doesn't. If we say that God was the creator of the universe, it is easy to also say that God created aliens along with the universe.

Do know that despite the Bible being inspired by God, the people who wrote the many books weren't perfect and neither were the people who assembled the books into the Bible we know today.

I don't understand how saying there is life elsewhere in the universe would stop the ancient peoples from believing. Back then, they barely recognized how large the world was. Telling them about the universe and its size would probably make their heads explode.

If the aliens were to land on Earth, they would be a technologically superior race, but we cannot say that they are superior because we haven't defined how a race is superior over another. Also, the Jews are his Chosen People regardless if aliens exist or not.

The phrase "We are created in God's image" is not to be taken literally as it is a metaphor, as is with most of the Bible. This phrase means that God created us to be like him in nature. He created us to be rational, creative and compassionate.

Also, God is a being of a higher order, free of physical form and cannot be comprehended with our senses, making it impossible to determine what God looks like.

I do disagree with you on one point. I do not believe human beings are naturally kind. If parents leave kids to their own devices that do not turn out as kind compassionate human beings. They often end up bitter, or don't become kind until they go through some sort of life experience that changes their view.

This is the result of one of the traits of humanity not being fulfilled. Humans are social creatures that under normal circumstances are raised by an attentive and loving parental unit. Without the critical attention of the parental unit, the child growth is stunted and become bitter as you said. Saying that all humans are naturally evil because children without good parents are bitter is like saying that all trees grow stunted because trees growing on bare rock are stunted.

I have seen a lot of circumstantial arguments like hieroglyphics that look like ships and ancient texts that appear to depict alien-like gods, but all that can be explained in many different ways besides aliens. The Bible clearly goes against evolution at first sight, the Qu'ran tells muslims not to eat pork, well both those things don't make sense anymore. But should we just discard the Bible? As you can see what I got out of it was not that Adam & Eve stuff, but rather the love thy neighbor. I'm calling christians to think and interpret. Jesus said it himself "I don't want blind people on my way" Literally blind? No. He does not want those that just read what's in the book and do everything it says without thinking about the historical context. At that time, there were widespread diseases from pork meat in the middle east, which is why it made sense AT THAT TIME, don't eat pork. We must learn to interpret and reread,
