So i have been wounder for a while now and im not coming here to start shit or be an ass but i was curious on why most of you started watching the show in the first place? Like was it just a random hey why not, did someone say hey you should watch it? Again just curiosity

my brother had some friends over and they brought up bronyism (it was a new concept then) and my brother was all joking and shit and was like "yeah, i watched all the episodes, best show ever." i actually took him seriously. that night i didn't sleep, and watched every episode in season one (season two didn't exist). when my brother woke up and realized what i've done, he said he was joking and stated he was a hater. now me and him have fights whenever ponies are brought up.
he's just one of those stupid hater that hates it because it's a show about ponies.
people are dense these days, no?

i cept seeing the shit on memebase, and i despised pinkie and rairty for half of season 1. but the it is refreshing how pure and not cynical the show is IMO
Well i was looking for why people would like it and there opinion on the show, im in no big rush to go and watch it, i was just really curious on peoples views of it and why they like it. I have a feeling with a one year old niece im gonna end up watching it soon, she already reaches for pony stuff at the store
I saw the brony fad and thought, these aren't all retards like Nikki Minaj fans after having an intelligent discussion with a brony. I decided to see the appeal and got right into it after ignoring it for a day; hoping the urge to watch it would go away.

N. Korean citizen (07/24/2012) [-] Founded in 1866, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party's Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for blacks. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and black Republican leaders. Though Congress passed legislation designed to curb Klan terrorism, the organization saw its primary goal–the reestablishment of white supremacy–fulfilled through Democratic victories in state legislatures across the South in the 1870s. After a period of decline, white Protestant nativist groups revived the Klan in the early 20th century, burning crosses and staging rallies, parades and marches denouncing immigrants, Catholics, Jews, blacks and organized labor. The civil rights movement of the 1960s also saw a surge of Ku Klux Klan activity, including bombings of black schools and churches and violence against black and white activists in the South.
For me it was just curiosity. So many people were enjoying it so I decided to see what the hype was. Not everyone who does this comes out liking it but I found a show I actually enjoyed.
