Oh look, borderline and spam, maybe I'll wait a while before coming back...
Loljokes.
So how was everyone else's Easter? I guess for most people it's still got a while to go... 2244 for me right now.

That is commitment. I bunked 3 weeks (consecutively) of school in year 10 for a number of reasons, one of which was to play FF7. No letter home though.
Also, I forgot Red Dead Redemption. I loved RDR, it made working last summer bearable, despite the depressing ending.

I got like, 15% of the way in and gave up, it was so long, I was never sure if I was doing a side quest or something actually necessary O_O
I did like it though, I wish I'd had the determination to finish it, it was rented from Lovefilm so I gave it back...
And ouch, that must've been tough. I know because I've done that before, though due to illness. I missed a whole 4/5 weeks once.

Yeah it was long, but I had loads of free time because of being unemployed, then working nights. I knew how it ended before I got it, which kind of spoiled the ending a bit. Least it saved me from manly tears.
And it's probably cheap now, I got it for about £15 a year ago.
Yeah, it wasn't really tough for me considering I only had a cold and just hated school, but I guess it was for you as you were actually ill.

No I mean like, tough on the return. Catching up on work is difficult. I know that better than anyone.
And... Well... I've stretched out illness a little, stayed home when I could have gone in, just because I know how depressing it is being in in my condition, of both academic loss and still feeling bad. Which of course only makes it worse, but you know how people are.

Oh right. I got round that by not catching up. I never really had any motivation at GCSE level, so I took loads of time off school and never caught up. I probably underachieved, but I still did pretty well, better than I probably deserved.
But seeing as you have to catch up to allow you to be up to date etc so you can achieve what you want, I'm guessing it's pretty tough.
And I agree entirely with the stretching out illness. It sucks that you have that, because you don't have a choice in missing school when you're genuinely ill.

Like I said, some of the time I spent off was just because "fuck this, I don't want to go and uhhh... I'm still ill yeah that's it."
And sorry for late reply, I'm trying to make a gif of myself... I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing XD

That's cool, I know that feeling. By sixth form I was just taking time off because I couldn't face going to school. I'm lucky my mum was lenient in that regard, although she quickly wised up to the fact I tried to get every day off school...
And no worries, I reply quickly because I am doing absolutely nothing. How's the gif going?

I have the footage, now I need to pick out the take I want and put it into the right file, no actual editing... It shouldn't be this hard >.<

A magic trick, changing a card instantly. From the Ace of Spades to the 3 of Diamonds I believe, maybe the other way around. It's instant, doesn't go behind anything, no video cuts either, hence why I could do multiple takes in one shoot.

And yeah, sorry, it's just so frustrating, especially since some of them are genuinely good actors, one of them is absolutely amazing, better than me and all my years of work. But he's actually the worst at... What that rant was about. I won't type it out again.
Yeah, I'm doing some backstage work for my school this term, starting when the holiday ends in a few weeks. We did Passion of the Christ last year, I wasn't involved...

Yeah, if I could choose completely freely, I'd be a director or actor. Or both, though that's unrealistic even under these fantasy circumstances.
I'd love to be able to write, direct, star and edit my own short videos. So maybe a YouTube director, or have that as just a hobby.
But no, I'm going in to the army -.-
I might still do some stuff, become a small time YouTuber, who knows ;)
What about you, dream job?

Ah the army... Fuck that.
Small time youtubers do make some money!
Um... I really have absolutely no idea. There really isn't anything I enjoy doing. Maybe writing, since I seem to be decent at that when I'm not forced to base the story off some dumbass word like... well, "word". Which is why I don't get great grades in Norwegian.
And it's mostly when I'm inspired to write. I can write for a bit, and then get inspired but that pretty much means that the story starts out shit.

Dayum shame.
I'd love to do something like that. Especially since my English teacher is really homophobic. She kicked her 15yo son out of the house for a day when he came out, and only let him back in once he told her he was lying to get attention. I want to remove small parts of her brain and put them back in backwards.

And as a semi-related topic: My sister and a friend of hers was trying to make me gay throughout my childhood.

I decided one day to convince me entire year 6 class I was gay. Did it in one sentence. I was pretty proud XD
I didn't even know at the time.
Basically, we were having the gay talk, for some fucking reason the school decided to give it to all the higher years. I just asked this one awkward question, while looking really uncomfortable. Everyone was staring at me for the rest of the day.
I did it, just to prove I could. I think that really says something about me, though I haven't quite figured out what...

Omnisexual maybe? I think that's what I am, the lines blend a bit, I find women a little more sexually attractive, but that works equally if it's a femme male. Which isn't really how it works. I distinguish by personality and looks, regardless of gender. It's just woman are usually more suited to my sexual desires, and men to my romantic ones...
That's what omnisexual is, to an extent.

Thanks for reminding me of a few weeks worth of pondering I did a while back. Basically reached the conclusion that personality matters more for actual relationships than appearances. And in my book appearance is basically the separating factor between male and female.
I get bored on bus-rides. Or, I used to. Now I talk with people.

Erm, go out if the opportunity presents itself. If not, watch DVDs, play PS3 if I feel like it, chat to people on facebook/msn. Now it's sunny I've been going out more and just chilling with people on the grass and drinking. Whatever passes the time really.
How about you?
And nope, will hopefully get by just working summer holidays if I can. I've still got some money saved, and I have really cheap accomodation next year so I should be alright.
Guessing you don't have a job because of the age restrictions?

Yeah, I don't go out a lot, because of physical afflictions and social ineptitude. I mostly go on the thread, as of December, it's taken up a surprising amount of my time.
I do odd things for my mother... She's computer illiterate, despite hours of work put in to learning, it just isn't natural to her. I mostly edit advertisements in to position, she offers to pay me, so I take it XD
So that's a no, but with an interesting twist.
I'm sure I could do something if I wanted, during holidays.

Yeah, I'm pretty socially inept myself, although I think I've got better being at uni. Although if I'm in social situations I normally get drunk if I can, otherwise I'll be almost silent. And I agree with the thing about the thread to, I normally leave it on quite a lot now.
And that's not a bad way to make money, especially seeing as it sounds simple enough. Getting a job is overrated, although I had a crap job so what do I know?

1-6 where 6 is best. I tend to get a shitload of 5's and 3's.
Had a 6 in religion and ethics for a while, but then I went from... I'm not even going to start trying to explain our school system.
Heh, I got a shitty grade in Drama/music even though I was one of the few who actually did something. I just failed at notes. And the teacher wasn't objective.

Yeah, when I'm present, I always do all the work in Drama, but then I end up outnumbered by the guys who just eventually get bored and go "right, you're a gangster and I'm over here taking drugs, this is going to make us look so cool the teacher will love it." And because most of the group agrees, my hand is forced.
Dicks. I genuinely came close to assaulting someone for pulling shit like that. It always looks terrible and we don't get any time to rehearse.
I know it sounds egocentric and vain, but I come up with the best ideas, they should shut the fuck up and let me direct; giving input where they actually have it, not where they want it. I've done this shit professionally.

No, he's been here before, everyone acted exactly the same as when anyone else had brought a boy/girlfriend to Christmas/Easter; which was nice since my Grandmother is very religious and his (my cousin's) mother is a complete bitch agreed by everyone.

Haha, yeah. I got a fair bit of chocolate, gave it to my mum and cousins though, trying to lose weight. Then I come home and find my parents got me a standalone, massive fucking egg, in the shape of a chick jumping out of its shell. I've eaten half of it already. FML

I got an easter egg and a bag of small chocolate eggs. But I am sort of an adult, so I will take any free chocolate with open mouth.

I think the clever people don't push themselves in to adulthood, because they realise how fucking amazing it is to be a child.
And, hm, I'm going to try and work some of this off, lift some weights 'n' such... See how many pressups I can do without stopping now my arms have toughened up, I reckon about 30, not much.

I don't really act any differently now than I did when I was 16/17, except for drinking a lot. So I guess it makes me a typical Londoner these days...

Uni sounds better than secondary school, I prefer to learn stuff at my own pace, regardless of whether that be faster or slower than in a classroom.
And yeah, I'm so going to do that now, because why not?
My cousin is training to be an RAF officer, and he had a 3 day initiative exercise, where he had to get as many points from completing challenges as possible in a group of 2, without spending any of your own money. They had to blag their way 300 miles and back simply on the basis they had military ID. One of the challenges was to get a free spray-tan, so they just walked in to the shop and explained it all and they did it for free, it was apparently very easy, I might try it once I have one of those, just brag my way in to places, they stayed overnight in a 3* hotel and everything. It just reminded me. Crazy.

Yeah, it's a good way to blow a lot of money really quickly. Easily £20-30 a night if you're an idiot like me. Picked up the terrible habit of just drinking alone now too, which is just terribly depressing and a habit I should really get out of.
But the learning at own pace is good, especially if you have the work ethic to do so. You have plenty of time to actually do that at uni, if you are so inclined. I most certainly am not.
Chocolate is clearly the best motivation for exercise.
And that sounds awesome! What was the actual lesson of the exercise though? I'm guessing charisma, initiative and blagging skill sort of stuff.

Yeah, it's the sort of thing everyone gets in to for a time, though some don't make it out...
And yeah, I spoke to my cousin about how it all works today. I spend as much time a day as she does a week actually on site, it's all just set readings, which I guess has its pros and cons, is that how yours works?
It's funny how I was completely oblivious to this until now, I didn't even assume it worked the same or anything, I just hadn't thought about it at all.
Something like that, like if you were trapped somewhere without money and needed to talk your way in to food and bed, or... Spray tans O_o

Yeah, tell me about it...
I don't really do any of the readings I'm meant to do. I only have one book. I'm a terrible student really... although I have major blagging skills. I'll try to improve next academic year though. I go to most of my lectures, seminars and tutorials though, unless I can't be bothered.
But different unis and different courses require different amounts of independent work and varying amounts of lectures etc.
I've heard it can be tricky to get spray tans when you're trapped, could be useful.
