Call me inconsiderate, but I'm sick of all the fucks given about the Powell incident.

That nobody gives a shit about,
and suddenly I'm supposed to dress up in honor of literally one case?

smallhorses **User deleted account** (02/09/2012) [-] I read what you're talking about now. I agree with you, yes what he did was monstrous, but it's actually far more humane than what someone like Joseph Fritzel did to his daughter - and the world forgot about that damn quickly.
I will never understand why some people latch onto certain events and ignore others, I'm of the belief that if it reaches a certain magnitude of how many people it affected or how badly it affected one person then that's how it should be organised. Road accidents, there should be a yearly two minutes silence for road accidents - more people have died in those than in both world wars combined.
People will choose to care about what they choose to care about.
