you could also allow yourself to be defeated on the ship after getting cut hm an the ship remines there. i tried this on an oringal blue there was nothing under it but strenght did move it

the rumor was that a pokeball with mew was under it and you had to use strength to move it

in red and blue, you will use the walk through anything code and just outside of ss anne you walk across the water and see a car. There was a rumor that if you used strength mew will come out, but it was proven false

yep, just trade a pokemon that knows cut already then you can just skip the anne and go straight to the gym

no, you can just trade a pokemon with cut over and then just skip the boat and everything and its still there ^_^
